writer/producer/director/actor

Heather Matarazzo has over two decades of award-winning and critically-acclaimed performances in major studio films and independent cinema. She has appeared in such notable titles as The Devil’s Advocate, 54, Scream 3, indie-cult fave Saved!, and Garry Marshall’s comedy hits, The Princess Diaries and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, in which she co-starred with Anne Hathaway.

Her brilliant work at age 11 as the lead in Todd Solondz’ Welcome to the Dollhouse (winner of the Grand Jury Award at Sundance and prizes from the Berlin Film Festival and The National Board of Review) brought Heather international recognition as one of the finest actors of her generation, and garnered her with the Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance.

Heather expanded her fan base and stretched her skills even further with her controversial work in Eli Roth’s Hostel: Part ll, and wowed audiences globally with performances in indie film-fest favorites

such as Arresting Gina, All I Wanna Do, Getting to Know You, Morgan J. Freeman’s Hurricane Streets, and John Gallagher’s The Deli, Penance, and Blue Moon.

Most recently, Heather appeared alongside Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in the motion picture comedy Sisters, and in the independent film, Girl Flu.

Her extensive TV work includes roles on Grey’s Anatomy, Roseanne, ER, Strangers with Candy, Life on Mars, Law and Order, Now and Again (earning Young Artist and Young Star Award nominations), and The L Word.

After taking a short sabbatical from film to focus her energies on philanthropic causes, Heather Matarazzo has returned to expand her focus on writing, producing and directing.

Heather currently has several projects in post-production and development, including “Stuck”, set to be released later this year.
